The Joan Fernie Charitable Trust was proud to partner with Bostock New Zealand for a community native planting day along the Tūtaekurī-Waimate Stream at Chesterhope Station. With native plants funded through Bostock’s community and environment fund, volunteers planted 1,500 native trees beside the expressway, building on last year’s successful planting nearby. It was wonderful to see so many people, including families and young children, come together to support environmental restoration and strengthen connections between our community, agriculture and the land.
